Spurred by a recent question posed by a distant uncle who’s seeking to gain traction for his FMCG product in the Asiapac region, I was reminded how touchscreens offer consumers an enriched, modern, technology-centred way to really engage with a product.
“what could give us a promotional edge?”
The key is interactivity … digital interactivity… it’s new, it’s fun and it’s designed for today’s generation.
Whilst promotional stunts and lads/lasses in crazy outfits have their place, the idea of getting the consumer directly involved is key. Here are a couple of examples from around the globe that we feel are particularly clever yet simple, engaging and fun! They demonstrate the diversity of digital signage technology with applications for indoor and outdoor – and in places we haven’t really considered. Can you really make a fridge/cooler door a promotional vehicle that plays dynamic, interactive content such as videos, colouring screens, quiz or data entry screens – oh yes you can!
