31 Aug PERTH AIRPORT DIGITAL SIGNAGE UPGRADES
Sometimes it’s all about the timing. In this case, meeting deadlines!
Existing JCDecaux assets in T3 and T4 at Perth Airport were scheduled for an upgrade from static to digital signage, including major structural modifications and the addition of some new digital assets. Our team co-ordinated subsurface scans, detailed OSHE, manufacture of sub frames, installation of new screens, integration of software and other technology plus commissioning.
Our challenge was to achieve an extremely tight completion schedule with night works so as to not interrupt normal flight operations in the airside environment. The scope of works included multiple 2m x 3.5m wall mounted digital screens, large double-sided baggage belt totems, freestanding digital totems, an illuminated lightbox and a new bulkhead installed with digital signage.
Achieving the programme deadlines required a huge effort from every part of the Signs & Lines/Yap!digital team and did not go un-noticed. The Retail Business Development Manager of Perth Airport had this message for our team:
‘Thank you for the role you played in getting T4 done! Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives is a Perth Airport competency pillar, which this is a great example of.’
