NEW RELEASE – ADHESIVE LED FILM

And now for something a little bit different – adhesive LED film.  Tiege, LG and others have recently released this versatile new product which offers major advantages over traditional LEDs in that it’s lightweight, very thin, flexible, transparent, has a high permeation ratio and very easy to install.  It is also cost efficient!  These factors make it ideal for advertisement display or decoration. Check out the Tiege 2017 launch video here.

LG’s transparent LED film offers eye-catching digital content and information while interacting seamlessly with its surrounding environment. The LED film offers delivers over 1,000 nits brightness, with each 480 x 480mm panel containing 256 LED pixels supporting gray-scale tones to display content and information.

The product  supports standard and irregular aspect ratios to provide even more display options with a dynamic look and feel. At just 0.8mm thin, the 30mm Pixel Pitch display can be installed on any existing glass surface using its self-adhesive transparent film, making installation easy on indoor and window-facing areas with large glass surfaces such as retail storefront windows. On window panes, the display can draw the attention of passing customers without obstructing the view of the products behind the glass or blocking light from coming into the store.

Other applications include mass transit rail platforms and safety barriers, where it can display digital content and information while interacting seamlessly with the environment, and lobbies and large public areas where the film

Up to 24 film panels can be daisy-chained from the unit controller, for scalable installations. The flexible display works on curved surfaces and in parallel to the bezel, can be cut to size, converting any area of ordinary glass into digital signage.
