15 May MEASURING ROI OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR SCHOOLS
ROI (Return on Investment) – how can this vital indicator be used to prove financial success of digital signage in the school context?
Consider the school environment where digital signage’s most powerful values are for messages related to safety, information, results, emergency, fixtures, events, timetabling and student news. It’s very tricky to measure these metrics quantitatively – which can make digital signage a hard investment to win over the ‘bean counters’!
Instead, those involved in school-based digital signage need to use a cost benefit analysis based on qualitative measures – assessing the entire range of benefits that digital signage brings to the school. For example, take two very important educational values – disaster preparedness and administrative efficiency – with these initiatives alone there is no doubt that keeping students safe and managing the extensive time spent in a constantly changing school environment are compelling reasons to introduce real time, dynamic, information sharing technologies. The challenge is to weigh up these benefits against the cost of keeping our small people safe and informed.
Find out how we’ve recently introduced digital signage into a school and some of the benefits this will bring.
