DOOH – DIGITAL OUT OF HOME ‘CUBE’ – EUROPE’S LATEST HOTSPOT

In news from around the globe, Visual Art, a leading international digital communications agency, has recently launched a digital signage cube called the Pavilion in Stureplan Square in Stockholm, Sweden. The outside of the cube features three 2.4-meter by 1.42-meter screens and one 2.4-meter by 2.36-meter screen. The cube’s interior can be converted into a pop up store.

The cube’s total area measures 12.5 square meters and each display features a 2.67-mm pixel distance to create a clear image. The Taschen publishing house plans to open a pop up bookstore inside the cube.

“This is a great example of how we can use screens to achieve dynamics in a cityscape. The Stureplan plaza is one of the most attractive locations in Sweden for advertisers. Premium brands have already expressed a great deal of interest, but we would also like to see other types of advertisers, especially from the arts and culture sector,” Hoss Khosravi, business area manager and partner at Visual Art, said in the release.
