Finishing the Year on a High!
Yap!digital has finished the year on a high with some outstanding projects. VenuesWest’s HBF Arena is a recent project completed in November 2017 involving 2 LED back to back screens located 8 metres above the ground as promotional and advertising displays. Look out for this Case Study in early 2018.
There’s no sign of the digital signage market slowing down. Data just in shows that the global digital signage market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 8.21 percent from 2017 to 2022, according to a report by ReportBuyer. This growth is being driven by technological advances in the displays and declining hardware costs. In addition, retailers are boosting growth in the industry due to increasing demand.
Asia is expected to have the highest growth rate from 2017 to 2022 due to increasing internet penetration, urbanization and disposable incomes, according to the report. Australia is well placed to piggy back off this Asian growth and in some cities, such as Perth, we predict a strong growth in interactive touchscreen, OOH (out of home) and digital signage from the current low base.
